About
The COME OUT Festival is Australia’s premier festival of contemporary art, performance and creativity for children and young people and the largest event of its kind in the world. Established in 1974 as a key program of the Adelaide Festival of Arts, the event was so successful that it became a stand-alone event on the South Australian arts calendar and has run biennially since 1975. In excess of 2 million South Australian children have participated in a COME OUT Festival activity since the events inception.

Our mission
To deliver an innovative, internationally celebrated multi-arts festival that intrigues, excites and inspires South Australian children through a program of creative ‘doing, viewing and thinking’.
Come Out Festival is excited to announce the dates of the 2013 Festival, which will run from 22nd - 31st May, 2013.
